Sloane has played to sold out crowds at both the local and national level. He is a sought after talent in the Baltimore and Washington, DC music scenes. Recently, he performed with the Bandhouse Gigs collective, a group of local musicians intent on honoring the legacy of legendary acts like Jimi Hendrix and The Band; and has shared the stage with some of the top performers in the region, including The Patty Reese Band, Daryl Davis, The Nighthawks, saxophone extraordinaire Ron Holloway, Mary Ann Redmond and the Cris Jacobs Band.
Jonathan writes and performes with several of his own bands, each offering a unique outlet for his eclectic influences to shine.
Yellow Dubmarine is a tribute band that reimagines the beloved Beatles catalogue through syncopation and soul of early rock-steady, dub and roots-rock reggae. In addition to working out song arrangements, Jonathan contributes vocals and rhythm and lead guitar. Known for their live performances, in 2011, the band released the well-received studio album, Abbey Dub. The band has performed across the country, with gigs at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC; Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado; The Mint in L.A.; and The House of Blues in both Houston and New Orleans. Find them at local music venues such as The Hamilton, the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club, the 8X10 Club and Penn Social. Jonathan is currently in the process of recording original works as each band continues to impress audiences with the electricity of their live performances.
